With Yacht Club Cartoons' 8-bit love letter Shovel Knight hitting its Kickstarter goal about a week ago, the smooth sailing through stretch goals continues. The campaign is in its final week, but the most recently cleared goal ensures the platformer will make its way to Mac and Linux.
There's currently no solid release date for Shovel Knight other than sometime in 2013, but it will also be coming to PC, Wii U, and 3DS. It looks like the campaign should at least hit the next stretch goal, which adds a second playable boss character. Beyond that, the developer is shooting for bonuses like a gender swap mode, challenge mode, and four-player battle mode.
The previous update revealed that original Mega Man composer Manami Matsumae will be providing some tunes alongside Jake "virt" Kaufman's compositions. Let's close this out with a look at Mole Knight!
