If you ever wanted a really noticeable, really weird iPhone case, you might consider getting one of two new covers that will dress your smartphone like Ittan Momen (a living roll of cotton) and Nurikabe (an animated wall) from GeGeGe no Kitaro.
The classic kids' horror anime/manga follows a graveyard born descendant of the Ghost Tribe, who helps to keep the peace between humans and yokai supernatural beings. There's been at least one anime adaptation of Shigeru Mizuki's seminal manga series a decade since its debut in1959. It's not too well known in North America, but after previously hitting the English market in hard to find Kodansha bilingual edition, Drawn and Quarterly will be bringing it back in a 430 page collection on April 2nd. A live adaption movie was also released in the region.
Preorders for the two cases are being taken now ahead of an April release, selling for 2499yen ($26.50) each.
In other weird iPhone cases, you can also get one modeled after Warsman Bear Claw from Kinnikuman/MUSCLE
