Following last month's story trailer, Atlus now has a closer look at Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers' Cartoonplay, from summoning demons to fight other demons to effectively using the Gun COMP. You'll also catch a few frames of the animation from Macross F studio Satelight.
From Atlus' press release:
Soul Hackers is a first-person, dungeon-crawling RPG experience set in a future where technology and otherworldly forces meet in a macabre fusion of cyberpunk and gothic horror. Soul Hackers tells the story of Amami City, a beacon of humanity's triumph of technology, but with an infernal secret. In this would-be utopia, a group of hackers takes on a centuries-old mystic society, and battles for control over humanity's fate.
Soul Hackers hits Nintendo 3DS in North America on April 16, marking the first time the RPG—originally released on Sega Saturn in 1997—will be available outside of Japan. New features include voice acting, faster battles, difficulty that's adjustable in the middle of a dungeon, an auto-mapping feature on the bottom screen, and more.
The first run will come in a limited boxed set with an arranged soundtrack CD.
