Viz Media has joined forces with apparel brand WeLoveFine for a design contest of epic proportions where fans like YOU have the chance to help create officially licensed Naurto Shippuden T-shirts.
And who is going to judge the winners? No less than Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto, manga editor Joe Otsuki, and anime director Hayato Date!

For over 13 years, the ongoing manga saga of NARUTO has delighted anime and action comics fans the world over. WeLoveFine is extremely proud to team with Viz Media to bring you the official NARUTO Shippuden Design Contest, in which YOU, the adventure-loving artists and designers who have helped keep NARUTO one of the best series of all time, can help to create beautiful, official merchandise that captures the spirit of these fan-favorite characters!
There is an opportunity not only to have your design made into officially licensed NARUTO t-shirts, but one very lucky and talented designer will land an incredible opportunity - the chance to come to Los Angeles with a fully paid trip to attend Anime Expo 2013! There are also excellent Judges' Pick awards to be chosen by the creators behind NARUTO themselves (The creator Masashi Kishimoto is one of the judges!), and more awesome prizes.

THE RULES
-Submissions must be received by 11:59:59 PM (PST) on April 16, 2013
-You may submit up to 5 entries per person
-All entries must be in one of the following file formats: GIF/PNG/JPG.
- All designs MUST incorporate characters and themes from NARUTO Shippuden, and not from any previous episodes in the NARUTO series.
- All the designs MUST be stylized or Chibi (cute) art. Exact copies of NARUTO manga or Anime will not be accepted. Do not trace the original NARUTO manga or Anime.
EXAMPLES
Here's a timeline of how this will all go down...
- 3/26-4/26 - Fan submission at WeLoveFine opens up
- 5/8-6/8 - Fan Rating goes live
- 6/8-6/24 - Naruto staff and Mighty Fine voting occurs
- 6/25 - Winning design is announced
- 6/30 - Shirts to be featured at nationwide retailers, on WeLoveFine.com and Crunchyroll's online store
